2025 8th
International Conference on
Mechanical Manufacturing and
Industrial Engineering (MMIE
2025) will be held at
Hosei University, Tokyo, Japan
during August 26-29,
2025.
This them
signifies the focus on the
progress and developments of
manufacturing engineering,
precision engineering. It
involves the design,
manufacturing, measurement of
highly accurate, intricate
components, and optical
application, etc.
The conference program includes keynote speeches, panel discussions, paper presentations, and poster sessions, covering a wide range of topics. The meeting will provide an opportunity to highlight recent developments and to identify emerging and future areas of growth in this exciting field.
MMIE submissions will be peer reviewed, and all the accepted papers will be published in Mechanisms and Machine Science (ISSN: 2211-0984) as a proceedings book volume. Springer will conduct quality checks on the accepted papers and only papers that pass these checks will be published. The book series will be indexed by Ei Compendex, Scopus, Google Scholar, Japanese Science and Technology Agency (JST) etc.

Special Session 1: Advanced Manufacturing Systems with Mechatronics
In the face of population explosion and environmental problems, there is a demand for more efficient and environmentally friendly manufacturing.
While the introduction of automation has brought benefits, it is also extremely important to consider how to systematize the skills of experts into explicit knowledge.
We also need to consider how to foster collaboration, where systems handle tasks that they are good at, and humans handle tasks that only humans can do, and we need to gradually advance automation in line with social trends.
Organizer: Assoc. Prof. Masao Nakagawa, Doshisha University, Japan
